Right, let's talk brass tacks – how DDIR handles the billing side of things. It's all pretty straightforward, so you won't find any nasty surprises here.
First off, for your core Driver Walkaround & Fleet Compliance, it's £1.00 per vehicle per week. Quick one: if a vehicle sits idle all week (Monday to Sunday) with no fleet management activity recorded, then you won't be charged for that vehicle for that particular week. Fair's fair.
Bolt-on Services
We've got a couple of optional add-ons that can make life even easier:
- Driver Licence Checks: If you've got this activated, each check costs £2. These happen automatically based on a driver's risk profile. If a driver has 6 or more points on their licence, we'll run a check every month. For those with fewer than 6 points, it defaults to quarterly checks. This is the one auditors love to see.
- Tachograph Analysis: This one's £1.00 per driver per week and 50p per vehicle per week.
Managing Your Billing
Setting up and managing your payment details is nothing to it. Here's the drill:
- Head over to the Sidebar and click on the Company Setting Tab.
- Within that section, you'll find Billing – it's the last tab there. Click that.
- Add your payment details. DDIR will then set up a direct debit for your account.
- You'll get an email notification, and your generated invoices will always be available to view and download right there in the Billing section.
