Getting Started with Automated Licence Checks
First, heads up: Automated Licence Checks aren't part of the free trial. To activate this service and get things rolling, just drop an email to support@ddir.co.uk.
Once activated, each automated licence check costs £2. Quick one – this isn't just about the driving licence; each check also confirms your drivers' Tachograph and CPC card validation. Two birds, one stone.
How DDIR Manages Your Checks
Our system is smart; it handles checks on a risk-based schedule. This means: * If a driver has fewer than 6 points on their licence, we'll automatically run a check every 3 months. * For drivers with 6 or more points, checks are done monthly. Fire prevention beats fire fighting, right?
This is the one auditors love to see: all these checks are fully auditable and stored for a solid 24 months.
Getting Driver Authorisation
Before we can run any checks, your drivers must give explicit authorisation. Nothing to it, though – they can do this easily using their mobile devices.
