Reviewing a driver's medical assessment is straightforward once you know the drill.
First things first: you're only going to see this option if your user profile has the "Medical reviewer" flag ticked. If not, give your admin a shout.
To review an assessment:
- Head over to Driver Compliance, then hit the Medical tab. You'll see the "Awaiting review" panel – that's where all the assessments needing your expert eye are sitting.
- Find the assessment you need and click "View answers" on that row. Quick one — every time you open these answers, we log it in the audit trail. This is the one auditors love to see, giving us a clear 'who-saw-what' record.
- Now, dive into the answers. If it's a Tier C assessment, you'll find the answers neatly grouped by category, with the screener's initial response right at the top of each block.
- In the triage panel, you'll pick the outcome from the dropdown. Your options are: fit, fit with adjustments, needs review, or not fit.
- Add or remove any flagged-category tags as needed. Keep it accurate.
- Jot down a brief reviewer note (up to 500 characters). Heads up — this note is visible to managers, so keep it an operational summary, not a clinical record. We're not looking for a full medical history here.
- Hit Save. Nothing to it.
As soon as you save, the driver's medicalProfile is updated instantly. You'll see their risk pill on the dashboard immediately reflect this new outcome.
Decisions change, right? You can always re-open and edit a previously-reviewed assessment if you need to revise your initial call. Every single edit gets appended to that audit trail, so we always have the full picture.
Keeping on top of driver medicals is a breeze when DDIR handles the heavy lifting, keeping you compliant without the fuss.
