How do I add an event (PMI, RBT, etc) to the caledndar?

Right, let's get those critical events onto the calendar. Keeping on top of these is key.

1. First things first, head over to Calendar in your sidebar. 2. Find the date you need and give it a click. This is where the magic starts. 3. A new window will pop up. You'll need to select the vehicle/trailer for this event. Quick one — if you don't see your fleet here, you'll need to add them under Vehicles in the sidebar first. Fire prevention beats fire fighting, right? 4. Next up, click the Event Type dropdown. You've got a good range of options here, covering most of your compliance bases: * PMI (Safety Inspection): The bread and butter of fleet maintenance. * MOT: Heads up — these are usually pulled in automatically from DVSA data, but it's good to know where to find them. * RBT (Roller Brake Test): Crucial for brake performance checks. * Tachograph Calibration: Essential for driver hours compliance. * Wheels Check: Keeping those wheels on is generally a good idea. * TAX: VED is often auto-populated from DVLA data, saving you a job. * VOR (Vehicle Off Road): When a vehicle's out of action, log it here. * Other: Got something unique? This is your catch-all – think Vehicle Deep Clean or a LOLER Certificate. 5. Now, if this is a recurring event – like a PMI every 6 weeks – you'll want to check the 'Repeat this event' radio button. Then, simply pick how often it needs to happen: 6 weekly, bi-monthly, or, for something like a Tachograph Calibration, every 2 years. Set it and forget it (until the next reminder, of course). 6. All sorted? Hit Save changes. Nothing to it.

See? Keeping your calendar up to date and your fleet compliant is a breeze when DDIR does the heavy lifting.
